Take Professional Looking Photos Right From Your Phone!

Back in the day, if you wanted to take great pictures you had to spend thousands of dollars on fancy cameras and lenses

However, today we are incredibly lucky because all we need is our smartphones to take pictures that look borderline professional! 

One of the easiest tools you can use to take a great photo is PORTRAIT MODE. This feature puts a sharp focus on your subject and adds a blur effect to the background like in the pictures below.

How to Use Portrait Mode

iPhone (only on iPhone 7 Plus and newer)

1. Open the camera app.
2. Swipe through the various effects along the bottom above the shutter button and select “Portrait.”
3. Aim your camera at your subject and press click.

Android

1. Open the camera app.
2. Select the menu button or swipe to choose the portrait option.
3. Point your phone at the subject and take a picture with the shutter button.
4. With some models, the blur is applied after the photo is taken.
