Save Yourself Time & Stress This Holiday Season!

holiday pictures tips for taking pics Oct 11, 2022

In a little over a month, you will probably start receiving your first round of holiday PHOTO cards from friends and family, near and far.

These cards have become much more common than the box of Christmas cards you used to buy in bulk or handwritten letters of the past! And for so many, these tiny little photo collages may be the only way you keep up with loved ones in the busyness of life!

Whether you've been making holiday photo cards for years or this will be your first, start planning with baby steps NOW and you will be grateful to have one less thing to do as you head into this busy holiday season!

Start checking these off and you may even have your cards finished by Thanksgiving!

Photos
  • Scroll through this year's pictures on your phone and start saving your favorites in an album titled, "Holiday Card 2022"
  • If you're on social media, scroll through and find any pictures someone else may have taken of you and your family and add them to your "Holiday Card 2022" album
  • If you like professional pictures, find a photographer and schedule them now

Addresses

  • Think of anyone who has moved this year and ask them for an updated address.

Stamps

  • Start buying a book of stamps here and there when you go to the store so you have a stash when you are ready to mail your holiday cards

I know it might feel like jumping the gun to think about holiday cards now but before you know it you will have a never-ending list of holiday to-dos and will be so grateful this isn't one of them!

All the best,
Melissa
